this project was for the university of western sydney student magazine, Embellish. this was a class project for the subject Publications, where we created a design publication as a team, with each person undertaking different management roles. i was awarded the role of art director and oversaw the whole production and design of the magazine.my design contributions include the cover design, gatefold contents page, 6 page article/spread and masthead. my article, titled the camera never lies deals with the use of manipulated images in the media and its effects on our community space, as well as questions the ethics of designing an image and embellishing the truth to create ideas of a perceived reality.
