Daryl always wanted to be a lawyer while growing up, until he realised that he wasn’t very smart. But he soon found out that while completely stupid, he was half decent at scribbling. His first legible drawing was at the age of 5, of the Ninja Turtle Donatello. He is now 21, and completing his degree, B Design (Vis. Comm.) at the University of Western Sydney. He listens to way too much Prince and Black Sabbath, loves paper, photography, writing in 3rd person and long walks on the beach. He still likes scribbling and still thinks Donatello is the best.

Scientists believe that Daryl started designing during the middle ages. He draws inspiration from free jazz, punk rock, black and doom metal, psychedelia, funk & blaxploitation, video games, comics, Suehiro Maruo, zombie movies, Robert Bresson, Wong Kar-Wai, Whisper Of The Heart, Kafka, Murakami, dirty rooms and white noise.
